My friends keep beating me about that. It happens to me all the time. I start dating, go with the moment (although I've never had sex on a first date), next thing you know we are going at it without thinking of what will happen next. Sometimes it leads into a relationship, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the relationship lasts a while, sometimes not.

But I don't think I am willing to take the risk of hurting myself again right now. I guess you have to make that decision for every guy you meet.

I think so, I'm not a great example but my last 2 relationships started with sex on the first date, and one lasted 18 months, the other 3 years (and neither ended because he didn't respect me), so I think the odds of your relationship lasting is good, since you think he's a great guy and all. And don't worry about those bit-ches above that called you a whore, you're only one if he paid you. Good Luck!!!

good question and i feel a lot of people will want to know the answer.

i believe in doing what feels right. i mean if you just met someone in a bar or club and had sex with them on the same night, then i wouldn't hold out much hope. on the other hand, if you have been getting to know someone for a while and then have sex, it's equally tricky but i think it has more of a chance, just for the fact that you have gotten to know eachother a bit.

ultimately, it depends on the 2 people. if the girl has and shows respect for herself in other ways then i think she has a fighting chance to get the relationship back on the right track. or, if the guy was only ever out to get some, then, either way, it will never work.

BTW......this is going on my watchlist

Well of course there is a possibility that you just happened to sleep with Mr.Right on the first night but its more likely that you just had empty sex with a stranger that will not respect you because you were too easy. 95% of the men I have asked (and I know a lot of men through my 8 brothers) have told me that they do not respect a woman that would have sex with them on the first date....they ask why they should trust someone that is willing to do that......I believe the same about men...It goes both ways. It plants a seed of doubt about the 'loose' person and that enevitably effects the relationship.

Why would you want to throw yourself like that..have self respect for yourself...and why would you want to sleep with a guy you just met..? Grow up you are a grown woman..you should of learned this along time ago...a man cannot respect a woman if she does this..and he too is wrong to sleep on the first date..if he does that with you he does that with all the other woman he goes out with...Nasty...

if you were 18, i would have said "no", but you are old enought o know right from wrong. u have to ask yourself, if he did not turn you down, then why shouldn't both of you be on the right path.
