I've done a lot of painting and used Behr, Ralph Lauren, Sherwin Williams, Ace, and American Tradition. I love the American Tradition line available at Lowe's. I use a lot of strong colors in decorating and find this line to be awesome and have a lot of choices. I have used red in both Lowe's Signature series and Ralph Lauren from Home Depot, I found Lowe's paint to cover better. Happy Painting!!!!

Hands down, Sherwin Williams. They have sales all the time. It is well worth the extra money. I used "cheaper" department store paint in my house the first time around and it peeled. Used SW this time around, and everything still looks fresh 3 years later!

I prefer Behr paints- mid-range price, lots of colour selections and good coverage(most colours cover in 1 coat)

Best buy? Depends on you budget. You can do Lowe's, their American Classic is good. But if you have the bucks_Sherwin Williams will fix you up.
