BTW, I believe God, and Christ, are only found within...not in Christianity or religion.

oliverbob: yes Fullness is perfect, thank you! And how his fullness makes us empty of all nonsense... leaving us meek and humble...and yet flowing with every action directly with him. Blessings!

Dr. Dee -- I agree that God has no gender, but since we're programmed since childhood to relate to 'Other' as male or female, I find 'Father' helpful and True in relating with the Pattern or Source aspect of God.

bbrenbbr: i agree, there is so much potential that humans have yet to even tap. in Oneness with Source (Father) humanity will be equally competent and mobile in Light and Consciousness as we are in physical manifestation. This is what Heaven on Earth is all about. The New Jerusalem will be BOTH at once. Thanks so much :-)

logicisdeciet: i agree God can't be seen with our earthly eyes, or described with our polarized egoic human laguage. But he can be KNOWN and when we know Him, he merges as one with us so that we can think His thoughts. This is what Heaven is. No physical death required. And then we must try to describe what we 'see' and know from Him....because this is how Heaven is brought onto Earth. We become his mouth and His eyes and His thoughts and Love in action.
Blessings

K -- yes everything that 'appears' separate from God is only illusion...eventually being dissolved back into the Light of God. We all carry the potential to house God 24/7 -- without any sense of separation. Our every action completely inseparable with Source. It's not knowing it -- it's being it that is Heaven. Thanks!

chocsalty angel: the beautiful thing about developing the fruits of the Spirit is that the developmental 'line' is infinite in expression. There is no end to your learning and growing. That is you nature to evolve and deepen in your expression...when we are awakened to conscious Oneness with God. Blessings on your path!

neenar; the way I see it isn't so different than your tradition. In my experience, we must release all worldly desires and give everything that we are in order to claim 'the pearl of great price' which is enlightenment -- conscious oneness with Him in every thought word and deed. We die 'on the cross with Jesus' (dying to the worldly ego) so that we can be 'reborn' in Christ, one with the Father and therefore all of creation. Pray to become Love -- and then just let go. It only gets sweeter the more transparent of nonsensical ego you become. Blessings

alexaj: That is a lovely quote -- and I so relate to your journey in motherhood. Having a child has seriously 'quickened' my own spiritual unfolding and deepening big time. Graciousness is a wonderful quality to recieve from the Father. Your words shine...thank you for sharing :-)

David, the suffix isn't important I agree. Sometimes God is Mother to me...usually I don't think in terms of gender, but there are particular 'qualities' that to me come from the 'Father' or Kosmic Pattern aspect of God. God is beyond all words and yet by using language creatively and intuitionally, we can better communicate our inner experience to others. It's great that God is involved in your parenting. God bless!

Arf Bee; I can fully 'hear' your song to God -- thank you so much for sharing your love and praise for Divine. Allowing that kosmicentric awareness to become our every movement, inner and outer.....that is what I am reminded of in seeing your love shining from your words. The Light makes us transparent -- so that He may abide in us seamlessly. Blessings!

I believe that a higher power comes from within. It is our personal potential that we only tap in to on rare occasions. If I had to describe that higher power in one word it would have to be LOVE. Since it comes from inside my spirit I believe it isn't judging or punishing.
I too believe that there are bits and pieces of organized religion that I like but my spirituality is very personal. I pray and meditate everyday. I love to do mantra meditation with a mala. That is very Buddhist in nature. However I still participate in some of the traditions of the religion of my birth so that I may stay connected to my grandparents. It is of my own making. It works for me, so who is to say that I am wrong.

God is only ONE and UNSEEN and is free of any relations as described in this materialistic world... If you want to see Him then you will lose your ownself, just as because a fish is no more a fish out of the sea. He is too great to see His own composed eyes. Retina would never be able to capture the image of our Lord - Lord of the universe. You can't see the most important realities of this universe such as Hearing, Sight, Taste, Air, Feelings, Emotions, Secrets presents in the Brains etc etc; so how a God can be seen which is the greatest of all important realities. Those who say He doesn't exit, are infact poor souls; they actually want to hide their own existence psychologically; blinds despite having the eyes; can't speak with a truth despite having the tongues; can't hear the real things despite having the ears; want to drive their life from instincts, nothing supreme except their lust.
In short:- God is too great to define in words -- He is the One and Only... Not dependent upon anything, not even on His own will... Neither He born nor be borned by anything. Nothing can be examplified of Him in our thinkings, and He is free of all weaknesses!

see it is different for my religion--- HINDU which tells that if u want the god and u to be united u need to leave all this materialistic world wishes, and without any want u need to pray him then only he will make u himself.
i m not trying that atall because it is very difficult to live without 'want or a wish ' . unless u see through this life.
GOD qualities...
see us as his own child. give good life and great wishes.
he should be great that even we do sins he has to forgive.
he should be great enough to just love and love .
but what we are doing is just asking him wishes and not even stopping to hate someone , not to ask anything except his love .

Tolerance, patience, long suffering, forgiveness, charity, and understanding. These are the qualities that I have asked of 'God' that he may dwell in me; so that I may do his will, on a daily basis. -peace.

I wont say they have become my own. I have felt devine happyness. I believe God loves all and that all that matters is that people love each other. Near death experiences have describe many lost sences, like seeing in 3d all around at the same time, and being able to move around by thoughts.

Each time I commune with The Law, I continue to seek the Nature of our Heavenly Father, which gives power to the Angels of His Holy Kingdom... Immortality and Heavenly Order has He given and, best of all, His Holy Law.
Our Great Creator made the Earth by His Power, established the World by His Wisdom, and stretched out the Heavens by His Love... and I praise His Works with songs of thanksgiving continually until the end of times.
With the coming of day I embrace my Earthly Mother, and with the coming of night I join my Heavenly Father. And with the outgoing of morning and evening I continue to breathe their Laws and will not interrupt these communions in all generations of time...
Glory be to God forever! Hallelu Yahweh Divine!!

You are Not understanding the Bible. In Gen. it tells us that Jesus got to be the Christ because he was the only angel that had Never sinned! I have gone through my New Testament and counted over 550 places that state that Jesus is Not God! Like where Jesus said: Why do you call me "good"? I am Not good. Only God is good.". "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was WITH him." "...You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,...". "For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which i am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me." It is best to obey the Bible, not lazy people personal wants and desires.

In the past few years God has been transforming me from the self centered, proudly independant person that I was to one who wants to always put His desires for me first. Maybe motherhood was the real changing point...recieving the lessons that he has for me in that arena daily...imagining that He could be as frustrated with my stupid actions as much as I am frustrated with those of my daughter. He saved me from myself and my own bad decisions...He is gracious. I am striving to always see things the way that I imagine that He sees them...with loving but wise eyes, ready to forgive when someone wrongs me, always looking ahead to my spiritual heaven and not wanting to get caught up in temporal and earthly things.
This is my favorite phrase:
Live your life so that those who don't know Him but know you will want to know Him because they know you.

I believe that God is not something different, separate from us-I think that people have one common consciousness and this consciousness is God,or a part of it-I believe that that would be what Hegel thought about the subject in simple words.
