I see some answers give 28 grams, however that is on our English system of measurements...The international standard is 31 Gr per Oz...thus, if you buy a one ounce Canadian Gold Coin, it will weigh 31 Gr....

Europeans measure in grams. One pound is 454 grams. One ounce is exactly 28.38 oz. You can buy scales that measure in grams at ethnic shops.
