It depends, do you think she is ready? She can write her own name, count to 1000, recognizes colors, can add and subtract and read at least 100 sight words( I, it ,the,he, she) If your answer is yes, then I guess that is my answer to. I would also meet with the 1st grade teacher and see if there are other areas she needs to have knowledge of. Currently kindergarten is not required so they should accept her. However putting her in first grade if she is unprepared could do more harm than help. You know her best. What does your heart and head tell you?

That is a horrible idea. Why would you do that to a child? Kindergarten is one of the most fun and important years in schooling. These days children are learning to read in kindergarten.

It is required by most states to send children to kindergarten. Check the state requirements where you live before you make any more decisions. If your child is not enrolled in school where I live the parent(s) could face time in jail.

I've sent my children to head start (preschool). I can tell you that it makes a difference.
My children have learned to socialize, share, gain responsibility, and emotionally separate from me when its time for me to leave them at school.

There is so much that children learn and are exposed to. For example multicultural experiences, transitional experiences (from home life to classroom and later from preschool to public school.), and the children also gain
educational experiences in health, safety, literacy, math, science, and dramatic play.

Also a plus is the teachers help make your child more self suffcient.

Its a good thing.

Not really.... she should be socialised at kindergarten or else it will be only harder for her. Also, kindergarten’s help mental development and so prepare kids for mathematics and other stuff.

You are making me ashamed of India. Why can't you use proper punctuation and spelling in your questions?
