Letting go, i.e. stop being over concerned with the rest of the world and more concerned about you. Stop caring about being what others expect and want you to be and start caring about being who you want to be or rather just being yourself. Simply, looking at your life and focusing on things that you hold onto that really don't do you any benefit and just let them go. All you stand to lose is the overwhelming stressful lie of a life that you've been living and all you stand to gain is a feeling you never thought you'd ever experience, real happiness.

Interesting, I don't know, but be creative. One person said sex, that is in fact true if possible, if not, masturbation. Brisk walking with friends is excellent. I belong to a local hiking club. Socializing works. I enjoy movies. Don't let anybody tell you what to do. Sometimes mundane satisfying activities like doing laundry, folding laundry. I keep lists of chores whether I believe I'll do them or not. Knocking off a few errands helps me. good luck

I count to 10. More than once if I have to and I do not carry bitterness around with me. Oh yeah, I used to smoke but I don't now so I chew on toothpicks a lot. I keep them at my desk where I do a lot of paperwork and here too while I'm doing this.

I could be having a picnic in the middle of a spaghetti junction and would not feel stressed at all by the noise and pollution around me if I was sipping beer or wine.

usually i get a real good laugh out of a joke that my sis says from time to time. it can even be a stupid one sometimes but it doesn't matter!
the urge to laugh comes up naturally n very often i end up in tears! my sis thinks i can get hysteric at times but it sure makes me feel a lot better. for me, nothing better than a laugh therapy.

i have several stress relievers i use...
1. i go to ocean wave therapy and have a massage on their hydrotherapy bed.
2. i take a hot bubble bath at home
3. i go to Karaoke... singing to me is a great stress reliever, i sing out my anger, fustrations, dissappointments, i look for songs to match my mood and songs that will help me de-stress.
