"I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice holy, acceptable which is your reasonable service.
And be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Rom. 12:1-2
"Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus." Phil. 2:5
"I will set no wicked thing before my eyes." Ps. 101:3
"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Prov. 23:7
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any VIRTUE, and if there be any PRAISE, THINK ON THESE THINGS."
The aforementioned verses are Biblical principles regarding our minds and "right" thinking.
I do not watch horror, graphic sex (or any movie rated above PG), or anything that would have little value. In fact, I do not have TV, therefore no cable, and I RARELY go to the movies for the reasons listed in the verses above.
God gives us principles and guidelines all throughout scripture for the best way to live. Your choices are not stacking up. According to God's principles, you are not acting like a follower of Christ. You love the world too much.

I consider you quite normal. Horror movies actually effect certain chemicals in your brain and get your adrenalin going and it feels good. This is understandable. If you feel bad about it, then you may want to try to back off from it. But you have to look at your life and see if you think it is effecting you in a bad way or not. Perhaps it is just harmless. For some people, it may be harmless, and for others, it may really put evil images in their minds that they can't get rid of or something.

I think you're a normal girl. Nothing wrong with liking those movies. They are entertainment, something to get your mind off the world, a stress release. Also those kind of movies give you a thrill, a way of experiencing excitement and fear without any danger. Enjoy the shows!

Sounds to me like you are a "Shock" junkie. You like the charge you get from being scared or shocked. You probably also enjoy "Thrill Rides" at the amusement park. There is nothing wrong with you, and your personal enjoyment of the excitement should have no reflection on your religion.

Ummmmm i'm not sure what you mean by LOVE...but hopefully it just means you enjoy those types of movies for entertainment, and not because you envision yourself doing any of those things.
Do you like it because it's negative? Or do you like it because it makes you wonder.....i wouldn't say you're on the dark side....but it is a bid morbid. perhaps you should talk to someone about that.

A morbid person who happens to be a Christian. Maybe this is a reflection of your understanding that we will all day someday. Perhaps your religious convictions come out of this understanding. Or not. If God is everything, than He has a darker side too, right?

God did not design the human brain, spirit, or soul for fear.
Remember that the next time you want to see horror flicks.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails.
