Cook him/her dinner. Turn the lights down low, or off, and keep it lit by candle light. Even if you don't usually have the time, set the table; it doesn't matter if the cutlery's in order; just that you took the effort to make the evening special. Have a decent wine if that's what you like; or any drink you know your partner prefers. Just show them you've been thinking about them.
Buy a dozen rozes, any colour, but a deep red's the most sensuous, especially when spread across a white blanket. Choose the best out of the lot, and lay it across the pillows (the bed being made, of course); and put the petals off the flowers, spread them over the bed.
All in all, it'll end up costing well under what it would to go out to a resteraunt, and it means more in the end, the person knowing you took the time and effort for them.
Have fun with it!

Try a picnic by a lake or park, most have small grills. Just a bottle of wine and a few little things to eat. She'll be impressed by the thought

picnic in the park man, works every time. but without planning can go very wrong. but one of the best things is just a simple as cleaning your apartment, dimming the lights, wear something alittle formal, get her to dress up and come over, but don't tell her why. and get on a cooking site and learn to cook something good, that or ask you r mom what to make. good luck man.
