No the ten commandments are not impossible to follow. Only a selfish and or ignorant person would think such a thing. Thats the problem with this world, no one understands what self sacrificing love is anymore.

From previous answers it seems to me that ppl enjoy the conditions of the world today, but it would be like the Bible says that it will be, there would be no crime no violence, there would be love among mankind I mean true love not what they call love. There would be no hunger or poverty, no misery there would be respect for everyone no racial preduisce,no lying no cheating on their spouses, no abandoned children,or animals, , noone would need to lockup their house or car, there would be no roberies,no need for insurance, no death no pain, no sickness, no hatred, people would work together in harmony, and acomplish much more toward the good of the world rather than to the detrement of the world no wars no fighting no bombing, nomarriage breakups, and no police necessary or doctors hospitals etc. and the world would be a better place for all! I'm sure I have probably left something out, but I'm not perfect, that's one, perfection would exist in the world too.

They would all miss the mark. Israel followed the 10 commandments as a substitution and refusal for them to hear individuall from God. And the law is a signature of disobidience. The greek word sin is translated in english as "the missing of the mark".

With or without the law, people can miss the mark that God pre-ordained and pre-destined each man in the earth. But he who hears from God is above all, for he is above the law, he builds completes the law, and he reigns over the all. And blessed is he who reads the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus and not the letter of the law that kills.

I like johnny cee's answer, that's funny. I think it would be great. Most religions adhere to these or similar "rules". If everyone just followed it, what a peaceful world it would be. For those who think it would be boring, maybe it would be more difficult not to have to face these additional challenges everyday. On the other hand, it would be so much easier to "love thy neighbor" if everyone did follow the "rules" of their religion.

The Ten Commandments, like all religious laws, are impossible to follow; they're designed that way. So this question is moot.

Everyone praising only God. Everyone following what he asks.

No stealing. No murders. No lying. No cheating. Just peace.

Even harder to follow are God's two greatest commandments which Jesus mentioned in the Bible. Even the Jews know of these two commandments (I attended a... I don't know if you call it a service... hmm) and preach about it. Do you know them?

I think personally it would be awesome!!! because before ppl really get to know God, they see all of the "rules" of being Chrisitan. They don't know that after you really get to have a personal realtionship with Jesus Christ, you just want to do anything and everything you can for him. because one day, like a thief in the night He will come back and when that happens there will be no time left to change the way you live your life.

yeh, there'd probably be a lot more stonings. no one can live up to them.
laws confine and kill people. they can't change the way people think.
i think it's a better idea to change the way people think, over the long term than to make everything illegal and put everyone in jail or execute them. it's too easy for this society we live in to throw people away, so we are prison population heavy here in america. any change that will affect positive change will be from within individuals who have made a concious effort to change thye way they think and feel for other human beings. in the mean time i guess they'll keep making everything illegal and throwing people in jail and executing them.

Peace on earth, not boring because our interest would be different. It's enjoyable getting to know God and have a relationship with, very interesting and satisfying. We would be completely realized. Excellent question.
