I know this sounds racist, but I want to ask it anyway.

Who else has heard that when Cain killed Able, and God cursed him. Genesis 4:14

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth and from the face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that fideth me shall slay me.

Genesis 4:15

And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slateth Cain, vengence shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a MARK upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

Is this when the Lord God, Cursed cain, and where we get " Black" American Americans ?

actually this is a good question but the answer is a few chapters later when after the flood, noah gets drunk and naked then his son ham (unclean meat) finds him naked in the tent and laughs at him. then god curses THE GENERATIONS OF HAM. and ham was the father of CUSH which the cushites came from. and cushites are ethiopians. this is the first mentionable proof that the black man goes back to prehistoric times he is the first race or color of man given in the bible because his brothers may have been china men for all we know. as for adam and eve i dont know. but if you think about it its like god cursed negroes.

God cursing cain has nothin to do with the black race. Whoever came up with that doctrine really needs help.By the curse mark was actually a tattoo. He put a tattoo on cain so anyone who would try to kill cain would be killed themselves. You see people,Tattoos are bad.But it has notthing to do to the black race. Are you racist by any chance?

Does it mention anything about the colour of his skin? Read the whole thing in context and you will see what the curse really was. Fen 4:12 says "When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wonderer on the earth.' That was the curse.

It was a long time belief that the "mark of Cain" was black people, but it's total fabrication, and born out of racist ideas and attitudes.

All human race was destroyed during the flood...
only Noah and his family survived.. therefore, all nations are decendents of Noah, so to speak...
Noah had three sons, Shem, Hem, Jepheth..
The Jewsih nation has their geneology traced back to shem..
there are some studies that say the chinese were traced to Japheth.. also, some studies say that the black people of africa was traced back to Hem, who interestingly was also cursed by his father Gen 9:25... though how much of it can we rust in those studies i know not...

I've heard it. I've also heard that the mark was red hair or that the mark was horns that grew from his head. I think I recall a story about one of his descendants (maybe a grandson?) killing him because they mistook him for an animal (because of the horns) while hunting, but it's a vague memory and I can't remember the details or where the story may have come from.

I think it's all a load of bull, myself. It's just people trying to justify hatred of a group of people different from themselves.

Ive heard that, but noone knows what the real mark was, its an assumption it was a new race, but not necessarily African American.

It's funny what your avatar says about stupidity, because your question is one of the stupidest I've ever read on here. It doesn't even make sense, and yes it sounds racist.
