Is it just me or does it seem like every girl on here had a baby at a young age? Is anyone else 21 and feeling like they wanna join in the baby fever???

I don't know.... I just found out that I'm pregnant, and I'm 31! It's my first baby too! I waited until I lived my own life. I travelled, Europe and across North America. I've done a lot with my life. Now, I'm settled and want to be a mom! There's NO WAY I was ready when I was 20!
Put off having babies for as long as possible! Once they're here, they don't leave!!!

When I was 19, my husband and I got married, at 20 we bought a house, and 3 months after I turned 21, we had our daughter. We tried for her for a while though. I'm sure it would have been better if we would have waited until we were both out of college, but we have good jobs.
I think what young people need to realize is having a baby changes everything. Especially if your baby is a preemie or has colic. And they are so very expensive. And if you don't breastfeed and cant get on WIC, formula is $12 for a little can. That barely lasts a few days when they get a little older. But if staying up all night with a crying puking baby is what you want to do, the rewards are endless!

My daughter is 20 and she wants a baby. But, she is smart enough to know that she is young, not married, she does not have a stable job and that it just would make her life more difficult if she had a child right now.

mmm why want to have a baby right now..make sure you can answer this question before jumping in... a baby is a great responsibility.. they are cute and fun when they laugh and smile and giggle but what about when they wake you up in the middle of the night. or what about when you want to go out to the club or to a party....what about..... i was 25 when i had my first child and i am loving it... but i must admit i was ready not because i saw people around me having babies...but because i felt the need and i felt responsible enough...as a mother you want to give the best to your little one.........he will always depend on you.....

im 21 and married, in fact ive been married for almost 3 yrs and been with the guy i married since 8th grade. i am not ready for children now, and if my husband would give me my way i might never have children. its not that i dont like kids, my career revolves around children, i just dont want to bring a child into this cruel world and i dont feel like i can be the motherly type for more than 8hrs. lmao!

I had mine when I was 23. Most of my friends my age have small children also but I have a couple that don't want any until they are closer to 30.

i was 19 then 2 weeks later turned 20. their is no rush to have children unless you want to have them.. alot of women are wating until they are older but it is not always like that so these days all ages are having them

im 21 and i had my son like 2 weeks before my 21st b day i didnt get to drink but it was so worth it
