I'm in love with the sweetest most loving man alive. The only problem is that he's white and I'm not. Friends and family think he may be using me to pass time. Please tell me what you think

Hi! I was in a very similar situation 4 years ago, not about race but about the man I fell in love with: He is blind and my family did not like that at all, they opposed for long time but I followed my heart and marry him.

I've been the happiest woman ever since. Next August we will celebrate our 4th anniversary and I do not regret being with this man because he is the husband I always wished for.

My family finally understood and accepted him and now they love him too, so if they see you're happy, sooner or later they'll be happy for you too.

Your friends and family love you and may be concerned about you, so listen to them too and make sure the guy really loves you, if he does go ahead and BE HAPPY WITH HIM and don't listen to ignorant, racist and poor-spirited people like jacky.

I had this conversation at work today and the black women seem to think that it is a sign of disrespect to date or marry a white man because the way they look down on our black man.. My opinion there are no boundaries for true love. You can fall in love with a man of color and he too could be doing it to pass the time so follow your heart and pray that this is real love. Race has no barren on how you two feel about each other so go for it girl and if by any chance it don't work out then it was better to love and lose then to not love at all.

I don't know either of you, but I don't think I guy would use a woman to pass time. I think you guys would make beautiful babies. Most of my family is mixed and we are all gorgeous! Congratulations on finding a loving man, keep him close, cause there aren't too many of those anymore!

My boss at work is white and was married to a wonderful black woman, they had a wonderful marriage and 4 great children. She recently passed on and at her funeral it was the most beautiful thing to see people of every race imaginable there. They were married nearly 40 years and never let what other people thought stop them from loving each other!

Is the problem with your family and friends or with you. This may come a bit strong, but if it's your family and friends that have a problem with the guy that you are in love with then you have to decide which is more important to you. The man you may be happy with for the resy of your life or your family and friends?

Black white red purple who cares we all bleed the same. Love & Happiness are color blind. Ask yourself this if he were black and doggin you out would that give him a brownie poiint?(Hell 2 the no)? When this sweetloving man gets on your sweetloving nerves aren't u going to address that ?(Hell 2 the yes)?? So...It reallly makes no difference what colors you see it's the persons character that matters....
Congrats! &
Good Luck 2 u

Do you think that he loves you, or do you think he is using you to pass the time?

Just because he is white and you are black doesn't mean that there is a problem...especially in today's times. Biracial couples are accepted these days.

Love is color blind, it doesn't come in black and white...it comes in people. If you love him, and he loves you...then you can overcome any problem. And personally, I think all children are beautiful...white, black, red, yellow...and yes even biracial.

Firstly, that "Jacky" person needs to see a councellor, also a biologist.
Secondly, on to your question, I don't think race has anything to do with if he's playing you as something to do or not. If you want to look at it that way, then its your racism clouding your judgement - not his.
Would you feel better if a black guy were using you to pass time?
Think about it.

God bless you both. If you love him that is all that matters. Don't worry about what other people say. I still regret a decision that I made several years ago. I let a beautiful woman and a great mom go. I want to go back and do it over.

Her kids would look human, I don't know what issues you have Jacky.
I think you need to take time and get to know this guy. By being in love you're taking a risk, a risk to get your heart broken. It's a risk alot of people take. I think it's always better to find things out for yourself, you'll learn better by experience. See what happens.

Holy crap did I really just read what Jacky wrote? OK forget that, from someone in your position (I'm black, she's white) let me tell you. IT DOESN'T MATTER. I love her, she loves me and anyone who doesn't like it, can take it and shove it. And the kids will be hot, multiracial kids are awesome (plus if everyone were multiracial, a lot of racism lines would be broken! YAY!)
