I'm Offended! I'm Illegal Too =), But I can see why giving amnesty to illegal immigrants is a problem if you give citizenship who would be the people working in the yards or picking our grapes??? Not Us!, Now My Family doesn't really care about citizenship my Dad makes around 1,000 a week being a supervisor in carpentry I'm lucky my dad is Smart. All my Parents want is to be able to go to Mexico and come back without a problem, Be able to get a Driving license,Work without a problem, And That's It! But most Mexicans want to be citizens to get free Medicare and Services Which Is Wrong! My Family is in no way like that.
I Think Letting Mexicans Go To Mexico And Come Back Would Be Good For The Airlines Dont You Think?? But Yeah, Some Mexicans Want The Whole Package and I Dont Agree With That!
My Family ALL Speak Good English

Let's face it folks, if you are going to make a chocalate cake ...you need some chocolate!
The US needs to be aware of what it needs ...to develope itself in that direction. They tell us we are short of folks smart in Math and Science. People like this should be the first ones we let in. After that, there should be reasonable quotas annually or monthly on an ongoing basis, a little from everywhere. Not hordes from one area. It is unfair and unwise to let any old body in. You want a lot of middle eastern folks here that are PO at the US cuz we trashed their country? I rather suspect they look at anyone from the middle east carefully these days. More carefully than they do, say those from Mexico.
If people from wherever don't follow our laws ...out of the country they should go. Never to return.
We have something precious here apparently. People are dying to get in! If we give illegal aliens citizenship, we have just paved the way for a 0 future with no or little opportunity for anyone, including them and most importantly your children and other young Americans. It has become that way already as a result of the illegal Hispanic influx. There's nothing new here. The US has been doing this cherry picking for years ...and it has also let in many others who were decent enough to go through the process legally, as they law requires.
One person here, a Mexican admits that his family doesn't want to be American, just come here to make money and go and come to Mexico. As long as people don't vote, I tend to favor guest visas or work visas, as long as people's health care is covered and they aren't sucking off our system using welfare and social programs even Americans have trouble getting help from when they need it. I don't think we should have everything printed in Spanish either for our government concerns. Biz and personal is OK but if you have any doubt about who's in this country in droves ...ask yourself why everywhere you go and everything you buy and everytime you call the phone comp. The phone is answered in English AND Spanish. It's a telling tale and, it's an insult.

Of course. Immigration policy is supposed to look at what a country needs, and allow that in. Typically, that means it is easier for higher educated and wealthier people to immigrate to most countries, including the United States. However, there are fewer people with those qualifications who apply to immigrate.

Yes, those with skills and trades should get preference. The last thing we need is another unskilled Mexican willing to work for peanuts taking away what used to be a decent job (I.E. Border State Construction, Farming, Textiles)

It should favor all immigrants. Anyone should be allowed to enter. It just needs to be regulated better. The US needs to keep better track of those who enter the country.

I would have to say favor the LEGAL ones. They are following the laws of our country. We don't go to their country and break all of their laws
