It depends on your state. We can't give a proper answer unless we know where you live.

Depends on which law enforcement agency issued the ticket. Here in Arkansas, if the state cops getcha the fines are about double what they would be if it had been a city cop. Call the phone number on the back of the ticket for specific information.

I would say more than you want to pay. However if you really got a ticket then you would know how much it is going to cost you since it is on the back of the ticket. I guess you could be as stupid as you sound and really not know.

Doesn't it say on the ticket how much it will cost? Also, in order for anyone to tell you they would need to know what state you're in to give you a good idea, and the exact city to give you an exact number... In most of PA that's gonna run about $135 and in Philadelphia county/city closer to $160...

There are a lot of variables there. It depends on your state/locality, who you were pulled over by (city/county/state/federal), where (interstate/construction/school zone) and what time of day you were ticketed. I would contact the court clerk in the location you received the citation for more information.

It depends on the laws of your state and sometimes your local gov't. We have a small town near our area that charges exurbitant fees for going over 1 mile on their 5 mile strip on two-lane highway... Many tourist rec'd a "welcome" ticket everytime they pass by the area.

P.S. Please contest the ticket. Most judges are lenient and will reduce the fines. don't forget to ask that it not be reported to the insurance company. Good luck.

pay the ticket by mail, write a check for $5.00 over the fine, they should send you a check back for the change. whatever you do, NEVER cash that check. cut it up and burn it. if you cash the check, the transaction will be complete and the points will be added to your record. you will have paid the fine, and the cops won't come looking for you either.

thats what works here in michigan, try it in your state

Depends on how many violations you have. If this is your first, I say between 80 to 100 dollars in California.

the first ticket is usually between $25-$50, then it goes up if it happens more than once.
