that's about right until you're ready to see more of each other. if he can't take two calls a week then he's simply too busy for you or not into you that much.

The first one, since I'm horrible at picking up the phone and I get distracted too easily. Besides, guys like to be pursued sometimes too.

either way is fine.
If she's an old fashioned girl, I'd call her though, that's more romantic.
if she's more modern and independent, she better call me half the time, or I wouldn't put forth effort either.
