Here are some I found on the site eHow:
1. Hold your breath for 30 seconds and then release it.

2. Breathe into a paper bag five times in a row.

3. Sip 10 consecutive gulps slowly from a glass of water without stopping to take a breath.

4. Immerse your face in ice-cold water for 30 seconds.

5. Swallow a teaspoon of dry white granulated sugar.

6. If you began hiccuping after taking a medication, seek medical help. Also see a doctor if the hiccups don't stop after 24 hours (3 hours for young children) of if they are extremely painful.

I think you shold stand upside down and drink water then hold your breath for thirty seconds. I use to have it on and off for days but it finally went away it can't go on forever. Try to eat something, drink water, or tea. It works. Even try to hold your breath right after drinking water. If it goes on for more than 8 hours be sure to go to your doctor he/she will give you or tell you something for your hiccups to stop.!

The best way to stop hiccups is by holding your breath as long as you can. If it doesn't stop in the first attempt go for another attempt.

I always drink water without breathing in. Sometimes it helps to hold my nose. It works for me, but sometimes I have to do it a few times. It sounds crazy, but drink until you feel like you can't breathe when you are there then obviously stop so you don't hurt yourself.

Get someone to block your ears with the palms of their hands (hard) and drink a glass of water while holding your breath. Works every time for me.

Try a piece of chocolate. Don't chew just let it dissolve in your mouth. It does work. One of the plain hershey kisses is the best.
