Well since it says the first Wednesday I would assume on June 7th. If it said last Wednesday of the month then it would have been the 31st of May.

Look at the calendar of June 2006. What is the lowest number that is on a Wednesday. That is the first Wednesday of the month of June.

did you pick them up 5/31? cause that's in may

it sounds like you are having an arguement, and it doesn't matter which side of that you are on.

the first wednesday in june is the first time that you can say "oh look! it's Wednesday!", while the calander says June

I'm assuming that you are planning on picking the kids up tomorrow, and are being told that 5/31 was the first wednesday in June.
