i will give u five bucks if you can hiccup again... at least have somebody tell you that and you cant hiccup again for some reason.

The answer is quite simple. Hiccups is an interruption of the breathing rhythm of your body. This is guaranteed to work. Take a deep breath and then breath out slowly. Do it several times and the hiccups shall say "Adios."
Sincerely,
Mr. M.

do the hiccup dance

first start out standing
then walk the number of steps equivilant to your age (aka. 20 = 20 steps) heel to toe forward
after your last step turn around in three circles
then walk backward heel to toe 3/4's the equivliant of your age (aka. 20 years would be 15 steps)
after that sit down and drink a glass of water
make sure to concentrate hard on making them go away
and if you can hold your breath through out the dance
but dont rush
good luck

Get a cup of water, find a straw, place the straw in the cup and sip thru the straw for about 5-10 seconds.

If you don't have a straw, press your index fingers into the soft areas behind both earlobes, just beneath the base of your skull. This alerts your bagus nerve to send a signal to your contracting diaphragm.

Good luck, send me a IM tell me which one worked best!

Take a few sips of water upside down... put your lips on the opposite side of the glass so that your bottom lip is inside the glass.... bend over at the waist and slowly drink the water and swallow while you are still upside down. One or two swallows should be plenty. Then slowly raise back up.

you can stop hiccups by drinking water, stopping breath for as long as you can or by having some sugar crystals.

Sit down, take the deepest breath you can, then put your head between on your knees for about a minute. The pressure will fix the spasm. If it didn't work the first try, do it stronger or longer the second try. Has never failed me.

You can't. Your diaphragm has involuntary muscle contractions, that cause this. Unless you shutoff that signal that is causing the muscles spasms then it will just have to stop on its own. Any medical procedure to prevent this is costly and no doctor would risk any neurological surgery for such a thing. Just try your best to ignore it.

Hold your breath for as long as you can.

OR

Get a cup of water and take a lot of small sips, very quickly.

Relax, and don't think about it.
Calmly drink a glass of water just like you would normally do, and go do something.
If you think about it, it becomes worse.
