What should a guy talk about ( that won't make him look like a fool) when first coming up to a girl he likes?

just be yourself maybe drop a couple of jokes being a fool is not always that bad

Girls really like it when a guy is honest and friend and of course a gentleman..these are the first steps that any guy should take when approaching a new girl. Because you never know the kind of attitude that the girl may have or the impressions of other guys that she make expect from you, you want to make sure that you have a good head on your shoulders and try to be as polite and simple as possible. Let her do some talking, ask her questions that will embrace her with you, don't talk all the time, let her talk. Women appreciate when a man is trying to get to know her, rather than just asking her questions that will ultimately end up in sex talks or things like that. Remember, these things won't work with all the girls so make sure you ask the right questions and you see her body movements and gestures..they're key to knowing how the convo is going. Good luck!

Talk about your setting. Whether you're at a bar or a park, strike up conversation by talking about it. Ask if it's her first time there, etc. By doing this we don't feel the pressure right away. Then, move the conversation towards her and you can ask about her, followed by talking about yourself. By then you should be able to get an idea of whether or not she's interested in you.

This is just a few things I thought up in a hurry: 1. Tell her that her hair smells good. 2. If she has a cell phone in her hand ask if you can borrow it to make a call. 3. Ask directions to somewhere or ask if she can give you a ride. 4. Ask for her help with something like homework, redecorate a room, moving a piece of furniture. 5. Casually mention going somewhere and invite her to go. Give her your phone number.

talk about something that you are comfortable with; compliment her on what attracted you to her in the first place (but be sincere, women can tell if you are trying too hard instead of being honest); ask an open ended question that will require more than a yes or no answer. it will allow her to give her opinion and give you a little insight into who she is.

The best way to do this is to do your homework and observe. be a detective first and find out what she is interested in then educate yourself in it then you can come up and join in or discuss something she likes intelligently. Self confidence is good you don't want to come off too sappy. Just be relaxed and yourself.

start with "hello" and your name. And talk about whatever. The weather, what happened that day in school or at work. Or in the news depending on how old you are. Anything that is not disgusting.

Talk about something you know you both really enjoy. If you only like a girl because of her looks, give up. If you like a girl because of her personallity, go for it.

Ask her about herself. Ask her about her likes and dislikes. Make a light joke. Look at her eyes while she is talking and smile.
