The corolla is a better choice for not much more money at all.The corolla has more power, more room, and gets a little better gas mileage. The corolla has more options such as cruise control which comes in very handy if you freeway commute. However all Toyotas are fine cars and extremely reliable and the Yaris or Vitz are no exception.

i've got had my Prius for virtually a month and the main suitable i've got achieved so a techniques is 40 8.9 MPG. i replaced into hoping for extra because of the fact I do an excellent style of hwy driving (62 miles roundtrip) yet I could decrease some slack on the grounds that i'm nevertheless breaking it in and studying while to enhance up and while to take my foot off the gas while happening hill, to no longer point out blasting the A/C with this warmth. so a techniques i've got been happy with it on the line and having the clean bypass for the long island freeway has been a time saver for me. i replaced into nervous suitable to the dimensions besides the undeniable fact that it is deceiving and there's a huge style of head, arm and leg area. it is likewise a exhilaration filling it up. I went from a Honda Accord costing me $40 8.00 each and every week to $22.00 each and every week with the Prius. it is relatively extreme high quality to have the extra money in my pocket.

Sure, if you just want a cheap car. It will probably last a long time, too. They haven't been around long enough for me to tell you any problems with them, and I haven't worked on one so I don't know much about them but I don't think Toyota would produce a piece of junk.

Of course, it isn't going to be fast or handle well, but I don't think you are looking for or even expect.

If you like it, go for it.

yea the yaris is now in2 its 2nd generation(1st generation wasnt sold in the US) and with modern looks, cool interior with lots of storage spaces, revvy engine(in 1.5 VVT form) and smooth transmission.dont expect the sportiest drive, but it is a improvement on many boring other toyota's. get the sportier model if u can afford it.

NO. Buy a Corolla if you're looking for gas mileage.

Or get a Civic Hybrid.

No - they are awful and tiny. Look at a Honda Fit or even better - a Nissan Versa, which will be available July 1. More room, more power, still gets 35 mpg.
