We flew EWR-CDG on Air India a year ago with a 2 (almost 3) year old.

It was a B-747 with big screens (no in-chair multichannel sets), so nothing to watch for kids. Other than that my daughter didn't react much differently than on any other airline flight.

Food was OK, flight attendants (in saris!) were nice.

Minor mishaps:
They lost her stroller in CDG - we checked it in at the gate in Newark, but in Paris they told us to pick it up with regular luggage, and it was not there, they could not locate it for two days).
We didn't like the temperature in the cabin (too hot for me).

And on our way back (Paris-Newark) it was really bad at the beginning - they didn't let people who were goiing from Mumbai to Newark to get off the plane in Paris, so these poor people had to stay there for about two hours without AC running! When we came onboard, it was hot and spungy.

My wife is sensitive to smell, so she didn't like that part too.

Air France are among the properly suited 10 for airline food, the place as Delta or the different American airline for that count would not make it in to the properly suited 10, it particularly is to no longer say they grant a foul decision or high quality, yet they do no longer look to be among the proper. In financial device, you are able to no longer particularly assume a'l. a. carte food, and what you're served will remember on the time of your flight's departure. easily some if no longer all non-alcoholic beverages would be complimentary, even some alcoholic beverages too whilst served as area of a meal provider.
