Lesbians are not a religion, though some lebians are what you might call religious. I do not believe that lesbianism is a sin in and of itself. These women were born the way they are. There's no sin in that, so it's natural for them to prefer being with women.
BTW, I am a Lutheran Christian.

My religion is Hinduism. Most Hindus are conservative regarding sexual behavior. They desire that sexual behavior be done in a monogamous relationship. However, most are very tolerant of gay and lesbians. As one Hindu priest answered for his reasoning for performing a marriage ceremony at the temple for a lesbian couple, "in this lifetime the two occupy bodies of the same gender, in another they may have occupied bodies of opposite gender. The body fades and is an outer shell. The atman (soul) is eternal and genderless. Love is also eternal. These two atmans have loved each other lifetime after lifetime, who am I to stand in the way of love?" Those Hindus who are opposed to homosexuality do so not from a religious stance. They do not point to religion as the reason they oppose homosexuality. As one Hindu sadhu (monk) answered to a question about same-sex marriage in India, "I do not think it is natural, they produce no children. However, if they do not wish to renounce the world as I have, well we all desire companionship and love, though, so arrangements can be made." Here he is refering to the fact that Hinduism has many types of "marriages" or "unions". There is the "marriage" that produces children, for example. There are ceremonies that unite close companions, and so forth.

The only time being a lesbian would be a sin is when said lesbian starts calling others names.. like 'breeder,' and others.. or when said lesbian begins judging others 'for their preferences.'
What religion am I?
It dosen't really matter, does it?
I didn't think so.

The concept of committing sin does not exist in Hinduism. Sin is ignorance. I don't think Homosexuality is banned in Hinduism but it is not considered to be normal by many in modern Indian society.

As far as I'm concerned I don't get to decide what's a sin, that's up to God. I will say, however, that I don't believe that it is, I think that God made all of us and loves us all the same regardless or our sexual orientation. I've been Episcopalian, LDS and Methodist and two of the three were vary accepting of the GLBT community.

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.
The Church specifically says, "They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."
With love in Christ.
