In a morbid way I kinda want to respond, just to see if he's really:
a: ugly, b: sociopathic or c: married with a wife and kids in another city

It sounds like a serial killer. Usually, things that sound too good to be true have some sort of "catch." Perhaps the guy is just really horny or ugly. No one sane would trust a complete stranger with their 5 acre house. It is bizarre. Also, like other users have stated, it's like he's giving free room and board in exchange for sex, which is basically asking for a form of prostitution. The guy either has some mental problems or wants to kill you. He probably lied about most of the stuff on the site just to attract someone over.

Sounds like something you would see in California. We get some strange stuff. But I do agree that it is pretty messed up. Just a new form of prostitution. Paid via the barter system.

I saw this same sort of deal on Nightline (I think or 20/20), apparently it's the new craze, it's called ROOMAID, however on the Nightline series, they didn't mention sex as part of the fringe benefits, however the couple ended up marrying--so there ya have it!

I would say it sounds more pathetic than bizarre. And disgusting as well. But unfortunately there are some people who would go for that sort of thing. It certainly seems like asking for a world of trouble.
