I'm thinking of dying my hair kool-aid pink. How do I do this and how long does it last?

When I did it (this was 17 years ago and I did mine purple) I used 4 or 5 packs of kool-aid and added just enough water to make it the consistency of clam chowder. Then I combed it through my hair and let it sit for several minutes (I think it was about 10). It didn't make my hair purple but it did give it a purple tinge and it looked kind of cool.

Add three packs of kool-aid and 2 cup of water. make sure you use rubber gloves and if any gets on your skin use soap and water to get it off. it doesn't last long, i think when you wash it it comes out. I really don't think it will work on dark hair.

You mix the kool-aid into a paste with water, and apply to your hair. Everyone has different results with longevity.......
Why not go to a punk/goth store and get a demi-permanent color? It lasts six weeks and you're more able to judge what color you're really going to get.

kitchen sink.plug the sink. fill it up about half way. use a few packs of kool aid. hang your head in there for a few minutes. wring your hair out and put it in a shower cap. NO towel drying. let your hair sit for about 30 minutes or so and then rinse and there ya go! good luck!

You would need blonde hair and make it really concentrated. Very little water, then just wipe it on. It'll dye your scalp too, so be careful. (If you have hair that will reach your mouth, it's delicious!!)

Im not sure, i think i've heard that you take color out with Kool-Aid, or was it Lemonade.
