If a guy asks me out, does that mean he pays? Do we go dutch? If so, how long do we go dutch? If he offers to pay am I a gold-digger if I let him pay? If I ask and pay, can I choose the movie or would it be right to ask him what he wanted to see?

The person who ask pays. If you are asked you can also offer to help pay or help out with the tip.
When going to a movie or out to dinner it is often a mutual choice unless the asker poses it as: "Would you like to go see >Name of movie< with me?"
Neither party should have to bear the full cost of the date. Keep in mind though there are some men out there who hate letting the women pay... and some who are leaches who use the excuse of equal rights to try and get their date to pay for everything.
If someone asks you out and then expects you to pay (regardless of gender) ditch them. Not only does it show they are spoiled it shows a lack of respect to you as a person.

You ask, you pay, but you need to ask the movie he wishes to see, just like the man does.
Depending on incomes, dutch would work out well, if you both liked each other and wanted to see each other more.
Once you are going steady, you can try other things that aren't that expensive and you both can enjoy.

The asker pays, but the askee has the option to offer dutch, otherwise a gracious thank you. with the movie it is up to you whether you choose or offer to let him.
