kinda forgot to eat a meal today--had a piece of toast with margarine for breakfast---some crackers later---handful of apple jacks---lots of salted peanuts through out the day ---a small box of raisins--dranks a couple of kool-aid things---don't know how to count calories--what's the daily requirement of calories? Thanks

Your daily calorie requirement depends on your state of health. if you are thin and underweight, then you need more calories than you expend daily. On the other hand, if you are overweight or obese, then you should have a negative balance of calorie.



In general, your calorie needs decrease as you get older due to lesser physical activity. Heavier or more active people may need more than the calorie need values given in the table below.

Depending on your weight you in between 1400 and 2000 calories a day. This year my 4-H group is studing how to "Get Fit and Lose Weight". This program is for the entire North Carolina 4-H.

Your average daily intake depends on your weight. Normally between 1400 and 2000. Need to get more fruits and veggies in that diet!

This is like asking how much fuel does a car consume?You have to consider so many factors like your current weight,height,age ,level of activity and what is your goal-to loose or to gain weight.If you are trying to loose some weight(who isn't)you should consider six mini meals rather than three regular and increase exercise.Life style changes have to be made .

avoid oily junk food that is false calories. eat homemade food .normally 1800 calories for women &2200 for men. but it depends on the nature of work &built,tendencies.

well, for a child its like 1800 calories or more is a must per day and for an adult its 2500 calories or a bit more could do for 1 day........
