no, I believe that god is beyond gender. Male and Female are human concepts and can not be applied to the divine.
I think that in the old testament the hebrew word for god is a neutral gender word, but I could be mistaken.

The Catholic Church believes that God transcends the human distinction between the sexes.
The Bible is filled with images of God both as male and female.
Being a male heterosexual, I find it a lot easier to love God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength when I imagine God as a beautiful woman.
With love in Christ.

I believe God is a male and the Goddess is a female. (For obvious reasons.) There is definitely polarity at work in the Cosmos.

The Bible says that God created man in his own image. That's pretty clear cut. HOWEVER, listen to a song called "Counting Blue Cars" by Dishwalla, in the lyrics you will hear ..."Tell me all your thoughts on God, 'cause I'd really like to meet her, and ask her who and what we are." That line being asked by a child. I believe that God created Adam in his own image. He created Eve to be a companion for Adam. Had God been a woman, the SHE would have created Adam as a companion for Eve. Still, Counting Blue Cars is a pretty cool tune anyway.

The Gods are above Gender. Assigning sex to them only serves the laudable purpose of making them more real and understandable to us. You can call God Father or Mother, He doesn't care! He doesn't have a penis, of that I am fairly certain. But if he wanted to give himself one, he could.. But why when all he has to do is say Let there be... and there is. What use is a penis I ask you?

God is an ominpotent, omnipresent eternal energy force and is genderless. God cannot be limited to mere human traits and is far beyond our limited human comprehension. Look within, God is you, God is me. Everyone and everything around us is an individuated expression of God.

No, I believe God is neither he or she, in Heaven we have no gender. As told in the Bible. Nobody knows for sure so whoever says they do is wrong! You wont know till you get to Heaven.
God Bless.
