Flea Bath
Rabies

And also, I just got my kitten, it is 8 weeks old, when should I take it to the vet? The owner said it hasn't had any shots yet.

Take her to the vet ASAP- She needs to be checked for things parasites, birth defects. I'm not entirely sure on the schedule for shots (I've always had adult cats), but theres are a couple of sets that need to be done.

As for cost, that depends on where you live. You could call around, and find out the cheapest place. Also, there are shelters and humane societies that offer low cost spay and neuter programs.

Well it all depends on where you go. I know that from experiance smaller pet hospitals are a lot less expensive then bigger towns, plus they give you a lot better customer service, check ups and feed back for your pet. The best way to find out is do some reserach. Call places in your local phone book and price them. Also the sooner you get your cat it's shots the better.
