I missed the 30 days to go show proof I had it and now have a court date to be brought forth in front of a judge. Should I lay hope in them just letting me show my registration? Or should I lie? If I should lie, what is a lie that has successfully worked for someone else to get them out of a traffic ticket in court?

you should have went in those 30 days and more and likely that is what a judge is going to say. he is probably going to make you pay the ticket anyway plus court fees so if i was you i would just pay the ticket.

never lie in court, never. It will only make it worse and the judge will sock it to ya!
Just tell the truth. Just say you know you messed up and apologize for taking the judges time. Show them the registration that says you had it for the date you were stopped and BEG for mercy. Be very apologetic and humble. It could help.
I saw a judge cut a sentence by 1/3 the other day just because the guy "wasn't cocky". Sucks to play that game, but it pays off.

There's really no lie that you could tell in this situation that is going to help. You failed to show proof in the time alloted and now it's time to pay the piper.

Should you attempt a lie and be caught out in it, you could be charged with perjury. You're facing a minor traffic infraction that probably doesn't even have any points assigned to it and probably won't raise your insurance rates. Should you be charged and convicted of perjury due to lying to the court, you'll now have a FELONY record. Won't THAT be nice?

Suck up and pay the damn fine!

Just show your proof and you'll probably have to pay a small fine. don't lie and get into more trouble. You may not even have much to say.....they go through those things pretty quickly in the courtroom. No lie is successful. I would not even bother fighting it, you can't go to jail for this. A lot of people don'thave reg with them.

At least in Florida it's not that serious.
Why did you not have it?

Where's moral fiber these days? For crying out loud. No you shouldn't lie, you will be under oath. If you have a valid registration for the date you were stopped, you should show it, and explain that you know you were supposed to have it with you but you made a mistake. We've all made mistakes, and the judge can relate to that.

Make sure you go to court and don't lie if you get caught then you can be charged with perjury. More than likely you will get a fine suck it up and deal with it.

You had your chance to show proof. Face it, you fell short on an obligation (which I'm sure isn't the first or last time you have or will). Judges have "seen it all" and if there's a God, you'll get what you deserve. A GOOD STIFF

FINE.

Sure, lie about it. Then pay the fine with counterfeit money.

You are not the woman that I dream about.
