CONTACT THE COMPANY AND SET UP ARRANGEMENTS TO PAY BACK THE DEBT. ASK THEM FOR A "STIPULATED JUDGMENT" THIS IS WHERE THEY AGREE NOT TO TAKE JUDGMENT AGAINST YOU UNLESS YOU DON'T MAKE YOU PAYMENTS. ASK THEM TO SET IT UP SO THAT THE SUIT WILL BE DISMISSED WITHOUT PREJUDICE WHEN ALL IS COMPLETE, THAT WAS A JUDGMENT WILL NOT SHOW ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT.

YOU DO NOT NEED AN ATTORNEY UNLESS YOU PLAN TO FILE AN ANSWER AND DENY THE DEBT. EVEN THEN YOU STILL DON'T NEED ONE BECAUSE MOST OF THESE THINGS ARE DONE IN DISTRICT COURT AND A PERSON CAN DEFEND THEMSELVES.

CONTACT THE CREDITOR ASAP TO GET THIS WORKED OUT.

IF I CAN BE OF ANYMORE HELP LET ME KNOW

Call them up to arrange a payment schedule. Let them know when you are starting your job, and how much you think you can afford. Even if it is 20 a month, at least it is something.

Call them. They might be willing to make a settlement for less than you owe and set up a payment schedule for it.

contact the company and tell them what is happening to you...they will set up a payment program to help you. Just be honest and don't hide from them.
