Jesus said that only the Father knows. The Bible tells us that the saints are calling out to God asking when they will be let into the throne room of Heaven.

Nobody knows. Nobody should know. Just be ready!

The signs are already happening. I don't know that I believe in the rapture, but I hope that there will be, becuase I don't want to be here for the end. It will be terrible!

Daniel 12:1-2
Now at that time Michael (the Archangel), the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people (Israel), will arise. And there will be a time of trouble such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time (the halocaust); and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued (the rapture). Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground (1 Thes. 4:16) will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.
v. 4 - But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; (here it gives us more clues) when many will go to and fro, and knowledge will increase. (has there ever been a time before now when people are traveling to and fro all over the world and knowledge is increasing every day?)

Also, Ezekiel 36 speaks of the restoration of the nation Israel, v. 24 "For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land" The nation Israel was restored May 14, 1948, and the rest of Ezekiel goes on to prophecy events that take place at the time of the rapture and afterwards.

So the short answer is...we are very close. The coolest thing is that the Lord has clearly shown us in the Bible exactly what will take place after the removal of the saints (those who believe in Jesus and accept His grace), and exactly how to avoid it.

Is it well with your soul?

We have been witnessing all the signs such as earthquake, famine, wars, love of many will become cold, false prophets, false Christs. Only one sign that still to come and that is the great tribulation. In Matthew 24:32 we must learn a lesson from a fig tree. When its branches become tender and produces leaves, you know that summer is near.

verse 33 in the same way when you see all these things, you know that he is near, right at the door. (Jesus second coming).

I hope for your sake you are saved by his grace because the end is near and it is going to be horrible. I like the new NIV bible it seems to be easier to read. It also says you will not know the seasons. If you think about it we've had all different kinds of weather in each season.

God bless you.

You can't tell when the end of the world is coming. Like the previous poster said, "Only God knows this answer." What seems like a short time in the bible is a very long to us really. 1000 years is like one day to God.

This is what the Bible says, in answer to your question.

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all[a]these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences,[b] and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
