How old is he? If he is under six weeks, he still needs his mom's milk. If that is impossible, they have milk at the store called "whiska's kitten milk", and you'll need a small baby bottle. You have to take him to the vet. Why can't you? Is it money? If it is, can't you borrow it from someone? It sounds really imperative that you get that baby to the vets ASAP!! GOOD LUCK! Oh, you do know that kittens sleep probably 20 our of 24 hours. They are just like human babies when it comes to sleep. I wish I was there. I'd take your baby to the vet and pay for it...

I don't know there is much you can do if it is that weak. If taking it to the vet isn't an option then just try to keep him comfortable. If he seems a little cold you can make a water bottle for him. Fill a small soda or water bottle with warm tap water. Cover it with a athletic sock turned inside out. I used to do this for sick barn kittens and it seemed to work.
I should also mention that you should avoid giving your kitten any human medications.
It is posible that this isn't an illness but that your kitten got into something he shouldn't have. Double check the products, posions for mice, and the types of plants you have around your home. There are lots of things that can be toxic to small animals and it doesn't take much.
You didn't mention your kitten having problems going to the bathroom but if he does you can always try wipping his bum with a soft warm cloth. Mother cats wash their newborn kittens with their tounges to get them to go to the bathroom, the warm cloth does the same thing.
If your kitten has a lot of fleas that could also be what is causing the problem. Find a 24 hour store and pick up some flea medication designed for a kitten.
Other then that make sure your little kitten gets enough fluid. Please let me know how your little kitten does. Best of luck.

Did you get the ktten at the shelter? If so, call them and find out if a virus is going around. They may have alot of info and advice for you. If you just got your baby they may pay the vet fees or supply care for you! My kitty was on her death bed with ashelter virus for 10 days. I called a local "dog musher" and got an IV. I had to give her fluids in her neck every 3 hours and eye drop feed her (unsuccessfully.) She recoved and is here lying on the sofa. Good luch to both of youl. Hold kitty tight and purr on its head and throat. They like that..... I did thinking that if she was going to die I would at least let her know she was loved.

take it to the vet asap....maybe a 24 hour one in your area. In the meantime...keep him comfortable. Give him water but not too much to keep him from getting dehydrated. If hes eating then that's a good sign. Has he been wormed?

He needs medical attention right away. Is there an emergency vet in your area? If not, call your vet's answering service. He sounds very sick

If it has not been vaccinated then it probably has a disease. The best thing to do is take it to the vet. He will probably need IV fluids and IV meds.
