My cat and I have had this discussion, too. She prefers that I wear NO anti-perspirant or deodorant, so on days I am not leaving the house, I oblige her. Otherwise, I use a clear Gel antiperspirant and she adores the taste of it when she washes it off. She is also quite fond of the taste of many perfumes.
Keep up the great communication... it's the best way to have happy, healthy cat!

cats can't even pick up a tooth-pick,what makes you think they can talk and walk on one foot and brush their teeth while they ride a unicycle! THEY CAN'T! SORRY TO CRUSH YOUR LIL' DREAM LAND OF STUPID QUESTIONS BUT NEVER WILL A CAT PUT ON DEODERANT,unless you put build a robot cat and teach it how to do that,now get your head out of the clouds of dream land and ask a REAL question!

well whitney u sure make it sound like cats are stupid but id say these days half of them are probly more intelligant then humans and sure you might not speak there language maybe because you are to stupid to understand it? you think they meow for the hell of it? and cant talk to other cats?anyhow i think you should go for a spray on i dought its harmfull she would tell you if it was anyhow and if it is move on to soap.

No, the propellent in spray-on deodorant is not harmful unless huffed, but it is rather wasteful.
