NO...do not give the cat a tic tac. There are grasses and treats that the cat could eat to freshen its breath. You may also try brushing its teeth, but you have to use a special toothpaste for animals...the kind we use is not good for cats and dogs.

No! A tic tac is meant only for human consumption...cats should eat only cat food!

If it's really bad your cat might be sick. Or it might have problems with it's teeth (just like a person). Take kitty to the vet to rule these out. More than likely your vet can recommend ways to improve kitty breath. Dry food is one way, brushing is another but kitty might not like it (mine don't) What ever you do, don't give it things that are meant for people.

NO, DEFINITELY NOT! Bad breath in animals usually indicates a gastrointestinal tract problem in the worst case scenario. Best case scenario, just brush her teeth regularly. Does she eat only soft food? If so, that's your problem. You may want to add some hard food to her diet. If she's got hard food to chew on, it cleans her teeth and makes her breath a bit more tolerable. Good Luck...

Avoid giving your cat anything not labeled as cat friendly.
As mentioned there are cat toothbrushes and toothpaste, additives to put in their drinking water, and cat treats to freshen their breath. I just brush my cats teeth (then let her lick the brush to clean her tongue) and feed her cat treats in between. I rather like Greenies as they work well and my cat seems to like them.
