Canada and the US cooperate on protecting our mutual border in a way Mexico does not, so we feel more confident on that side of the nation. However, even Canada has said recently that its amnesty grants have jumped proper checking for terrorist ties, and I understand they will be addressing that, going forward.

I think we need to protect all of our borders. However, I think we at least have a neighbor working in concert with us on this point on our northern side.

The problem the US is having with it's borders is that illegal Iraqi's a/k/a al Quieda are sneaking into the US via Mexico and Canada.

Canada is more responsive, cooperative and a responsible neighbor in ways that Mexico is not, so a fence is being put up as a safety measure against those people coming in from Mexico.

Unfortunately it has been politicized and couched as being a MEXICAN problem, when it is not. Illegal Mexicans are NOT the real issue. The real issue is al Queida. They are using innocent Mexicans as goats to get into the US.

Fence between US and Canada? Probably not, as long as we continue working together.

It's easy to get into Canada and from there just a short drive or walk into the US.
