If you've survived (and I mean exactly that) a career spanning over 25 to 30 years, it's time to consider retirement options before you face death by bullet / knife or death by the stress of the profession doing you in.
Nonetheless, after serving all that time with valor in it's own right, you deserve to enjoy rewards for your dedicated hard work. Let the young bucks take over law enforcement / public safety.

why would you want to spend your life dealing with scumbags road accidents get shot at by people who just dont like you
you will have to turn your head to corruptsion bashings and all soughts of things coz if you dob you will be labbeld whistle blower and sacked .
