Shouldn't this be left up to God, and Satan? I realize we have to equip our children, to live in the world. But do we have to teach them to be judgemental?

There's a difference between being judgemental and teaching your children right and wrong. There is a such thing as absolute truth. That's what you should teach your kids.

It can't be a sin for us to teach our children the steps of which way to go. God left humanity to decide what to do with ourselves. All of our lives are a learning experience. Whether it be by the children or the parents. Only we can decide what is right for ourselves.
And regardless of what people say about it always being the parents' fault for their kids actions or behaviors; the children will go about their lives the way they want regardless of the parents' say or teachings. I personally learned from my mother what NOT to do when it came to interacting with other people. As far as everyone I know thinks, I came out as a better person because of it. So even if we teach our kids what "we" think is right for "us", who's to say they will even listen?

Of course not. You teach children the right and wrong way to behave, you teach them what behaviors to avoid and what sort of people to avoid, but I personally also teach them not to be hypocritical and judgemental for those things are wrong. If a behaviour is wrong, you don't hate the person, but the behaviour and you stay away from the person for your own safety.

God isn't going to teach your kids anything any sooner than he's going to pay your bills.

god does not have such a good track record
his people have tortured ,robbed and killed their way across this planet .

to teach children about right and wrong is just about the most important thing you can teach them,
that and how to think and become responsible.

now what is right and what is wrong ,is a sensitive issue

if you go by past religious examples , most rights are in fact wrong .

so if your kids turn out to be liars or murderers or racists
.
or good ,kind and tolerant people ,all depends on you
.
this is a great responsibility and requires a lot of wisdom.

On the contrary, it's every parent's responsibility to teach your children to make correct choices.

It's true that everyone has an intrinsic sense of right and wrong, but parents have a huge responsibility to help their children grow up right. If they end up making bad choices because you failed in your responsibility, the consequences will be yours to deal with.

There's a difference between being "judgmental" and making correct choices. It's appropriate for people to have friends of many different backgrounds and to be kind to everyone. Nevertheless, it's also important to make right choices. Judging between right and wrong for your own choices is not the same as judging other people.

No, These children are yours. It is your responsibility to raise them to be good christians. You should teach them right from wrong. Many parents don't, and that is why we have the problems in this country today. Do the right thing. Raise your children to know right from wrong.

We need to train and teach our children to do the right thing and NOT to do the wrong thing. in Proverbs 22:6 " Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

I think children need to find out for themselves and through their life experiences what is right and what is wrong. There's nothing wrong with a little guidance, but because concepts like right and wrong aren't black and white, an understanding of them should be developed like any other set of opinions.

Proverbs says to teach our children right from wrong. Doesn't teach them to judge individuals.
