Nah. Just make sure you have lots of Doritos ready when he comes down.

No it won't hurt.

We all know that catnip can make cats go CRAZY... So how does catnip work anyhow?

Catnip is a natural herb of the mint family which acts as a hallucinogen. No wonder cats go nuts! Don't worry though, it is nonaddictive. Although, it will lose its effectiveness on your cat if used too frequently so only give it as an occasional treat.

Some cats don't seem to display any interest in catnip; however, most cats love it! You can purchase catnip at your pet store. The best form to provide your cats with catnip is to simply buy fresh catnip. When giving your cat fresh catnip squeeze it between your fingers (this helps release the oils in the herb) and place a little bit of it on the floor. Watch as your cat starts to eat it, lick it, cover him/herself with it, and roll all over it! Watch as your svelte feline turns into a crazy clown, rolling around on the floor like a nut!

YES>>>DO NOT GIVE YOUR CAT MORE THAN A TABLESPOON AT A TIME!!!! you're cat will become lathargic and fall into a deep sleep not moving for maybe a whole day...i called the catnip comapny and asked them about it. it is not good for them only little bits at a time...

Your cat is probably fine, fi he doesn't stop acting crazy in a couple of hours, than maybe you might want to take him to the vet.

It will wear off as the receptors that take in the active ingredient will become over stimulated and it will stop affecting him. It's like if you smell a rose for a long time, you can't seem to smell it as strongly after a while. (That silly kitty)

nah, not unless he's allergic to it. Just like anything else he might have more of his usual reaction from the abundance i.e. if it normally makes him sleepy he'll sleep a little longer or if it makes him hyper he'll bounce off the walls a little longer, but don't worry he's fine.
