If the shoe fits???!!! My #1 problem with them is, they are ALL criminals!!!! They broke our laws by SNEAKING into this country!! They take jobs that Americans WILL do and HAVE done in the past, before ILLEGALS came here and stole those jobs, and drove down WAGES for American workers!!!! The list is TOO LONG to tell you ALL of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I am not pudintane, but...
I do not support anyone violating any law for any reason, there should be consequences and I see none.
With regard to the amnesty issue. I do not think that anyone should benefit from that original law violation simply because they have managed to avoid being deported. I think that there are some people who I might not mind giving amnesty to who have been here and working hard, but how do I tell the difference when amnesty is being given out between them and those who have been continually breaking the law (driving without a license, no insurance, using someone else's SS# etc.) and just not been caught.
We don't have the framework set up for us to judge the worth of one illegal over the other (although I will agree there are degrees). My other problem is that we DID try this once before and it DIDN'T work, in fact, has caused the problem we have now.
So, I would tell you that while it is a kind attitude to have, it is unrealistic in this day and age and the influx of those who would rush to come into the country before whatever "deadline" was imposed would be overwhelming.
My number 1 problem with illegals is that they are illegal, but if you want more specifics - illegals are the ones who took out the twin towers and pentagon. I don't make this a race issue, nor am I paranoid. There is just no way to screen all those here to determine which are honest and which are terrorists. Therefore, they should all go home and then those who can should come back legally.

I agree with RN BSN!!! I believe that the AMERICAN worker supports this country and should. NOT Illegals!!! We pay taxes, federal and state. The Illegals are most generally paid under the table. These companies hiring them are just putting $$$ in their own pockets by not paying them as much and not paying into federal and state taxes. We the AMERICAN worker pays all of these and more just look at your pay stub if you have a job. We pay tax just about on everything we own to support ourselves and our NATION, does the Illegals???? Let the Mexican govt worry about their citizens. I don't believe the American people should be at blame for the Mexico poverty and unemployment rate.

I say everyone is there own person and can support whatever they want, I don't support illegal immigrants, why?...the number one problem I have is they came here illegally, if we Americans do something illegal we automatically get in trouble and get time, so they should pay the price for doing wrong as well, any way, my opinion, to each it's own, God bless

Oh Pancha, Pancha ... OK, IF all the illegals here undergo a health check, like all the legal immigrants have to do ... IF they take jobs that means they have to pay taxes ... IF IF IF .... otherwise, I say ... why the heck should we support them??? They send about 20 billion back to Mexico ... is that money taxed? I doubt it .... really, illegal means illegal, I'm sure even in Spanish ....

I say if you are illegal get the h-ll out. You are breaking laws. The people that are trying to come over LEGALLY should be allowed to come as for all the ILLEGALS you should be in jail. This is where our US government sends us if we break the laws of our country, why should it be any different for ILLEGALS.

Illegal is illegal. Laws are for a reason. As long as you support the same for illegal potential terrorists then maybe you have a case.

No, I do not support illegal immigration. Read the following:
Subject: MR. PRESIDENT, I'M HEADED TO MEXICO
Dear President Bush:
I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.
I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, ports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.
So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic lebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P.
Thank you so much for your kind help.

I agree with most of pudinandtane's answers and views on illegal immigration.
This is what I have to say to you:
Why would you support illegal aliens? Is it because you are Mexican? I think you should examine your reasons for supporting them rather than asking us why we don't support them. They have broken into America, refuse to learn English and expect us to change American laws to suit their needs. Would you go to another country and act this way?

why would you support them? You say you dont support people coming over now illegally but you support the ones that are already here? Why is that? Do you think they deserve to be here even though they broke the same law as the ones you dont support. I understand having compassion for all but isnt it Mexico's job to take care of its citizens? Are you one of the angry supporters that the media showed screaming "MEXICO" and waving THEIR FLAG? What do I think? I think your statement contradicts itself, thats my opinion. You can believe what you want but I think you support those here and those coming.
