The night after my school's prom, I was at a small afterparty with 6 of my friends. They were a mix or guys and girls. We were watching some dumb movie... I can't even remember what it was called, but I thought it was boring as hell.

I made some remark about how boring it was, and the guy sitting next to me (he's my friend,) tried to "kick" me from across the couch. I grabbed his leg before he actually kicked me. He tried to pull away, but we were all having fun.

He still had on his dress socks from the prom, and to "get him back" I pulled off his socks and I tickled the soles of his bare feet with my fingers. He was obviously very ticklish, because he fell backwards laughing and was trying to get away. I thought that it was hilarious. He was trying hard to pull away, and my friend threw me a hairbrush from across the room, which I tickled his feet with.

Once I let him go, he called me a lot of names, including "queer".

How was that queer? We were joking!
Why was he mad?

Queer does not describe that behavior. The use of the term "queer" to describe things that are unpleasurable is obscene, and unacceptable in my book. He was mad, however, because he did not want to be tickled. I would think you would realize it, there are some things that it's not good to joke about and joking around about physical contact that happens is not a good thing. It might have been fine this time, mainly cause he's your friend, but it's not something to joke about. Next time it could be someone "joking" to authorities about physical contact that you made (even if you hadn't) which could become you getting put in jail (but they were just joking, so you shouldn't be mad.) Messing with people isn't cool. It causes bad things to happen. Be very careful about who you "joke" around with.

Doesnt sound queer to me. He was mad because you made him look soft. Also, some people are very, very ticklish and if you keep doing it , it becomes extremly unpleasant. I suspect it may even be dangerous. This type of play is bdsm, practicioners of such use safe words.

Because being tickled is no fun. Also he was probably embarrassed so he called you queer to deflect the attention from him to you

no its not queer. you were caught up in the moment, but don't worry about it, just don't do it again, cuz it is weird tickling another guys feet. aso it could be a word he just uses, my best friend uses the word "gay" like "thats so gay" for everything, i hate when she does it, but don't worry about it.

I think that he was probably embarrassed. I also think that he is a latent homosexual, remember that what you are the most opposed to is what you are actually for. I think that HE is the "Queer"

I don't think that he was justified in calling you "queer". It sounds to me like this guy is just extremly homophobic. It could also be that this guy was embarassed so he felt like he had to call you names to regain face. I wouldn''t worry about it.

Why does it really matter? Are you a queer? If you are, then I guess he got it right and if you aren't, then get over it.
