No, God loves you, bad things that happen to you will mostly be man made, what is important is how you react to these things.

The universe is a scam. It's the greatest reality TV show in existence. God & Co tune in for entertainment and they're ROTCL (C means clouds). Often those beasts cause terrible things to happen for fun and amusement, and then they inspire confused prophets to teach "God works in mysterious ways." lol. But there is hope, there appears to be a crack in the cosmic conspiracy, and for some reason certain people (chosen by the secret light-logos?) receive a flash to discover what's going on, and there's a way out to be sure. The divine scam is something resembling The Truman Show but in reality it's closer to the The Matrix. And it's very evil.

I do not believe that God purposefully causes bad things to occur. COnsider this - cold does not exist. it is the absence of heat. Dark does not exist - it is the absence of light. Thus, evil is the absence of God's will. SInce we were given free will, God gave us the choice between doing what brings life and what brings death. All of us have gone astray, each to his own way. However, God will use circumstance to our benefit - rom 8:28 " all things work together for good for those who love and serve the Lord..." Also consider the book of Job - God allowed the devil to try Job. God did not cause the suffering. Just some food for thought ... remember, God knows the plans he has for you - not for evil, but to give you a future and a hope!

Hi! First off GOD is THE very essence of unconditional LOVE.GOD/LOVE is without judgment.Only humans judge with their fragile egos and overwhelming insecurities.GOD/LOVE refines us by bringing certain events and people into our lives but GOD/LOVE had given us free will and cannot take it away with the other hand. What happens to us are the reactions to match our actions.GOD/LOVE only supplies LOVE to ALL.Everything else is our doing. The natural disasters are caused by Mother Earth trying to survive. Everyone seems to conveniently forget that She is a living organism. We pollute her water, air, land and sky.She must do what needs to be done in order to survive. Other bad things?....like what terrorists? Well...all that is due to greed.GOD/LOVE is without greed.Who does that leave? Us!Religion too often is used as a cover to host the sickness known as greed. Does GOD/LOVE shower us with greed? No!Humans need to stop blaming and start accepting the consequences for their greedy actions. Acceptance is the first step to living harmoniously with ALL of humankind. We must step away from judgments and into LOVE because that is the only way to GOD.That's what was meant when Jesus said "Whoever believes in me shall be saved" and that sort of thing. It wasn't the very name "Jesus" but what Jesus stood/represented which IS unconditional LOVE!

I think it pains God to see us in pain, however I get the feeling that many people don't even think about God until things start going really really badly. I know that's me sometimes.

I also agree with the refining thing. . .hopefully it will make us more compassionate and anything that makes us more like the Lord brings us closer to the Lord.

At least that's how I feel about these things.

I believe that God allows everything that happens to us to help refine us and shape us into the people we are supposed to be. Without each and every experience, we would end up totally different. We should embrace each and every experience and look for the meaning behind it- what God is trying to teach us from the experiences.

No. We live in a evil world. People that live on the earth are sinners and bad things happen because of evil people. Trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and rose again the third day for your justification. One day He will come for His church and we will live in God's heavens. Until then we will suffer and have many problems because of sins. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Job 14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.

God gave us free will to do good or bad. Bad things don't just happen. There is a simple cause and effect for everything. God does not make bad things happen to us to punish us because those whom suffer on earth will have great joy in eternal life.

The Word tells us that satan is the prince of the powers of the air, meaning this world. Sin and death (and all the things that accompany it) came as a result of man's fall in the Garden Of Eden. God does not "cause" bad things to happen, however, in those situations, it is His will that we learn to turn to Him in faith to get us through the trials we are experiencing. I agree with the person who said to read Job. Due to current situations, God has caused me to go into this book to prove to me that if I lean on him, the bad will go, and better will come through Him.

Have you read the book of Job in the Bible. In the story of Job, Satan accuses God of playing favors to Job, causing Job to worship God. He said that Job would never worship God, if God destroyed what Job. Then God, as away to try Job, allowed Satan to cause suffering to Job. In the whole book of Job, God did not cause Job's suffering, Satan did. In the end, Job was rewarded twice over, as a result of his faithfulness.

In answer to your question, God does not cause our suffering. Satan does. However God does allow it for many reasons. Sometimes, its to try us. Other times, its to bring us closer to him. Occasionally it is for punishment. After all, one can only play with the fire so long without getting burned.

I hope this helps you.

I believe that God can do no evil, but that He did create evil. Isaiah 45:7 I form the light and create darkness: I make peace and create evil. I the LORD do all these things....KJV... Since God can do no evil, it was necessary that there be an adversary,(Satan). God is the one who put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden of Eden, but Satan is the tempter. Gen. 2:9 and Gen.3:1... So when Adam and Eve ate of that tree., both their eyes were opened to know both good and evil, just as God knew., because this is what God said in Gen.3:22..And the LORD God said, behold (look),. the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever.... I believe God was speaking to His adversary in this verse. He then put them(Adam and Eve) out of the garden of Eden. So I believe mankind will be eating from that tree, and experiencing both good and evil from that time, throughout this earth age. When we read Job, chapters 1 and 2, we learn that Satan is subject to God, and obeys only what God allows him to do. In chapter one God allows Satan to destroy all that Job had, but He said "do not hurt Job", and Satan obeyed. In chapter two God allowed Satan to hurt Job (touch his bone), but God said "do not kill Job." And Satan obeyed Him. So this is proof that God allows suffering and evil things to happen to mankind. But it is the adversary that does the evil, as God can do no evil. If you read the rest of the story of Job, you will find that God rewarded Job for being true to Him, even in his inflictions. And we can look forward to being rewarded, if we also stay true to God. So we(believers) are now being refined like silver and tried like Gold in this lifetime. Unbelievers will be more harshly refined and tried through the fire, and all the chaff and stubble(sin and unbelief) will be reduced to ashes, and they will come out of that fire on their knees confessing that He is God, and He will look at them and say, "you are my people."( Because God says, " I am a cunsuming Fire", )and He consumes all. It will be all to His Glory and He will be all in all. Isaish 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.( to be complete).
