First of all the term you used to describe illegals is derogatory to many. Second of all, there are two criminals when illegals work. The worker AND the employer. BOTH are breaking the law. Any immigration reform should go after BOTH. We need to enfore the law with the employers AND stiffen the penalites of those who KNOWINGLY hire illegals. If there are no employers willing to hire illegals, the number wanting to come for jobs will decrease.
The sad part is that we already have laws against both, but they are not enforced. Now here we are all of a sudden saying this is a huge problem. This has been going on for years. Now we are going to decide to spend billions of dollars building walls and sending the National Guard to help.

A hurl a day keeps the Illegals away!
Personally I read in here the people that so totally support the Illegal invaders. They read as if there is some type of agenda behind it and I don't think I would like to find out what it is.
Also it started me thinking, over on the stock market boards there are people that are paid to flood the boards with information about a certain stock either for it or against it. Just not to long ago a couple of people were arrested for doing this because it is Illegal (dam there is that word again).
Then I come across some posts because people support immigration and just have been confused thinking that Illegal invaders and legal Immigration is the same thing. Kind well meaning people I am sure but I think that maybe they might need to turn off CNN and live on the boarder for a couple of nights and then make up their minds.
Thankfully I come across a lot of comments for people that know the issue, yep we all seem to have come from somewhere other than the Americas. The Indians had to granted citizenship from the bird in the sky, the buffalo in the plains and the wolf in the forest. The Europeans had as history reports a little less romantic acceptance here. As states became part of the union the citizens in them became citizens of the USA and Immigration laws were put into effect to protect and define our borders. Our federal government of elected officials have been charged to defend and protect our borders. Without borders you don't have a country, just ask any Roman if you happen to see one.
Personally I am all for Legal Immigration and welcome anybody that has the drive and courage to make this a better Nation.

they do the jobs lazy americans won't do because to them its still money after a hard days work. So HURL u ignorant IDIOTA. what may i ask do u work in? and would u be willing to work in the fields if u were ever laid off? or would u just sit at home and collect unemployment until it ran out? When the Americans start doing their own lawns, raising their own kids, and stop industrial jobs from going to 3rd world countries, maybe the illegal immigrants won't have a chance and maybe the American dream will somehow be the American dream again. Until then, amnesty will happen so u better get a doggy bag because there's gonna be a lot of HURLIN!!!!!

The biggest problem is the US has no national language. even though the majority speak English we did not make it a law. Also, We make it easy for people not to learn English. Has anyone been at the sears lately they have Spanish recording they have Spanish written under most of signs. I went to Boston a lot of things had Portuguese on the signs. Instead asking people to bring their own interpreters when they have a regular visit we provide people with interpreter Spanish, polish, that is an expense. In an emergency I can understand the need for an interpreter but not for a regular scheduled appointment. In the schools we give them bilingual programs. Many of the kids that are in the bilingual programs are US Citizens they shouldn't be in this program why are we allowing this. The program is only supposed to be for two years, then they are supposed to be in a regular school program but we have not enforced the rules they go stay in a bilingual program for all 8 years this is wrong.

I wouldn't say that they take the jobs americans wouldn't do. but, i do think that everyone should just drop it cause it is never going to change. there are always going to be immagrants here in the us. but, why do people always go to mexicans there are immagrants from alot of other countries. They only want to come here cause of what our founding fathers have built for us so why don't we help the other countries. And don't immagrants live and eat here as well, they pay bills like everyone else so if they can be here and work, live like we do why shouldn't they be here. They are probably more americans that live off of welfare and do nothing that we tax payers pay for so why aren't you on there asses about getting a job. If you were so pro on illegals why did you cut off your sentence. People need to stop juding and worry about there own freaking lives.

I have said it before, they are ILLEGAL. Laws are laws. Go home if you are an Illegal, while you have a chance.
I jsut saw a sob story on one of our famous Nationa News Networks about a guy who came here as a child, overstayed his visa, went to school, now is graduating college, and is crying cause he has been foud out and cant get to grad school or something like that. Well, tough. Get out. you milked the system your whole adult life. he wants to stay here and be a professional student, thats not being a productive citizen. We let too many in to study here, then go they go home and plot ways to destoy our country. GO HOME ALREADY!

I need to explain a little more into this. America has laws and people have their rights, but if you are not legal, I'm sorry, those rights don't apply to you, so make yourslef legal or go home. But the illgeals do deserve a chance to become legal and find their place here. One reason people are scared of immigrants ib because if "9/11".

Illegals should walk through the front door like the 4 million before them, if they slip through the back door, they get booted out the back door. And another thing, why are we paying taxes to keep these illegal criminals in jail when they commit a crime? I say we should have a say in where our taxes are alloted and my say would not be to keep the illegas in jail fed.

Yes. I do feel bad that they live in such poor countries that they have to come here to work to send money home. HOWEVER, if they are going to try to be a good example for their family they should come here LEGALLY. Not only that, but if I were to work in a country I would LEARN TO SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE. Many do learn to speak it but I am so sick of the ones that just refuse too.
