I already eat around 1200 calories a day and run 5 to 7 miles a day. Are there any foods I could encorporate in my meals that will speed up my metabolism so I'm hungry more often? (I never seem to be hungry, that's why I'm asking.)

Rather than a paced 5 to 7 miles daily try adding some speed work , throw in an occassional swim, a game of tennis, etc all of which will be challenging to the body. These are slow changes (metabolism) that happen over six months to a year, so even though you are doing good things now, if they are not sustained, you probably will not be making much difference. Also you might get your thyroid checked to verify it is normal. Good luck.

The best way to speed up your metabolism is to spread your meals out through out the day and eat 5-6 small meals every 2-3 hours.

Eat 3 meals a day...palm sized portions. And 2-3 snacks. The less you eat the slower your metabolism. The more you eat the faster. It has to be healthy of course. I thought if your not hungry dont eat, but I was wrong you need to eat small meals even tho your not hungry to keep that bad boy running at a higher rate,

Eat small meals through out the day preferably 3 hours apart. Lifting weights can speed up your metabolism and should help with your hunger problems, try doing 3 sessions a week along with your cardio.

5 to 7 miles a day on only 1200 calories?! i think you really need to eat more....

just eat even if you're not hungry....you're already doing the best thing to do to increase metabolism by exercising.

Oats\oatmeal. Like cereal with oats, cookies with oats really boost metabolism. And also dont forget to eat at regular intervals (light snacks 5-6 times a day)or else your metabolism will get slow.

hot peppers are supposed to speed up your metabolism but i think your looking more for an appitie try anything and everything till you find something that you like and then use it to make yourself eat. if that dont work you should go visit a doc maybe its some kind of chemical imbalance.
