I've got a lot of links to wildlife carers from a lot of countries on my site, at
http://au.geocities.com/leaswebsite/links under "Wildlife Assistance" - just click on them all, click on your country and state, have a browse, 'phone them and ask their advice.

Very very best of luck.

We live on a farm and our porches are filled each year with these chicadees. They need their worms and insects, they are big insect eaters, mosquitos, small insects. They are not grain eaters, corn meal mush just makes them sick, it actually blocks their digestion. When you feed the bird, make sure you extend the worm or insect with tweezers, not with your hand. They don't like to eat from your hand. Also, the mother bird will take this little bird back, just wear a glove and put the bird back in its nest if you can. We rescue at least one a year, they are fairly hardy. This time of year they should be starting their flying rituals, so he isn't as young as you might think.

They are usually fed grubs and small insects that have been eaten and regurgitated by their parents. As one of the other answerers said that baby birds seldom survive and it would be a good idea to take it to Wildlife Rescue Center in your area. (Poor little thing)
