Call every pound within a 30 mile radius of your home, check ALL newspapers lost and found section. And call ALL the vets and ask if a lost dog notice was posted in their office. You should also place your own ad in a local newspaper. And post your own "found" notice in all the vets offices.People often make the mistake of limiting their search as you have done not realizing that it's easy for a dog to put quite a few miles between themselves and their owners in a short time.

i would suggest as well as calling your shelter, call local veterinarians & ask if anyone's reported a dog missing or if the dog sounds familiar to them. the breed may ring a bell with a tech or the vet.

actually you should call your local SPCA or pound and report the dog to them.. not here where your message hits people from all over the world and means nothing to most of them
