i am not saying i don't love him but sometimes he makes me feel insecure.

You know you and I are in the boat, but it's my mother who's in my way. I wish she could feel more secure, so I could have more freedom; especially the chance to go abroad. I think your father is the one who feels insecure, so he wants to be in your way. Maybe you can try to take him out with you when you're not going on a date. Hope my suggestion helps. What do you mean he makes you feel insecure? If there is something you don't want to say, you probably should tell someone, but not on here. How old are you?

Certainly don't listen to goldwing110083. Giving advice like he has just proves what an idiot he is.
Just remember your changing faster than your father can handle. This will always be the case at least until your on your own. He loves you and doesn't want anything bad to happen to you. And believe me bad things do happen all the time.

tell him where your going who with and wot time u will be home...and make sure that u go home on time..try n be early too that always gets in the good books,it does depend on how you are tho aswell..im 16 n my parents dont let me going out late but ill negoitate with them..if he doesnt like u walking home in the dark then aks him if he will pick you up! or get a taxi if its far away!n say if u went out at 6 said you would be in at 10 ring him at 8 and just tell him that you are ok...sooner or later he will learn to trust you more and more and will not be so strict!

You should talk to your dad. I take it your under age, therefore I suggest you just have a heart to heart talk with him and hope he understands,
No screaming matches or throwing a fit, just be sincere.
If he still will not allow you to go out, you have to respect his wishes as he is the provider and responsible for your actions until you turn 18.

Stay home!... if your dad doesn't want you to then there is a reason. One day you will wish you had listened to him. You have plently of time when you are grown up to go out.. there is no hurry!

kill him...easy. Rat poison, shot gun, knife, run over him with the car you are not supposed to drive...lots of ways to go out when you dad...nasty old man that he is...does not want you to go out. But, kids will be kids...what are ya gonna do?
