Gee you must really be pumping in the cash. Are you sure you are not a drug dealer?Did the $244,678 that you said you won a week ago make him the richest kid in the class or is it the 5000sqare home you own. Then you ask would it be OK to foster another child. I wonder if the cat will like that one.Just click your profile to find out how I got all this info. Just a bit of advice,$150 aweek for a 12yo is way over the top, what else could he possibly spend it on besides drugs.I think you better put the pipe down yourself.
P.S. If your gonna make something public, don't you think it might come back and bite you?

Just cut the allowace and keep an eye on him ... dont you think 150 per week is too much for a 12 yrs old ??
You always have to control what kids do with their money , dosent matter how rich you guys are ,, giving too much money to the kids can spoil them ...
you also have to talk to him in a soft careing manner , dont yell and scream at him .. see what kind of people he hangs out with , why he even do drugs .. maybe he has trouble at school

First of all no child should be carrying around that much money in their pocket. You need to talk to you them as much as you can about the problems with drungs Most of the time Weed turns into other things that are a lot more diffifficult to handle. Crack down on him now. Don't let him out at a certain time at night and make sure he can't get out. and limit that money. Show him what it's like to save for something.

Homeschool is the only answer. Where do you think that 150 bucks comes from? Angels? It represents someone's life, their time or their value, and you exploit them to get that cash so that your kid can burn out his pea brain. Make the little cretin get a job at McD's for his money and buy his own gas. When he's old enough to drive (if he lives that long, since he probably doesn't have much idea of what his Self is worth, thanks to you), make him drive the biggest Sport Ute you have in the stable so he won't have any money left for poisoning his lungs and smashing into some poor single mom's economy car.

Well, first of all, a lot of these people are idiots if they think beating your child or smoking pot with him is going to do him good. and also, your son isn't necessarily going to get into heroin just because he's smoking pot. stop giving him allowance. $150 is WAY too much money to be giving a twelve year old. that should be going into a fund for college or a trust fund. what else is a 12 year old going to spend all that money on? If you want to continue giving him that much money, give him something to spend it on. like a project. something expensive and safe. like saving up for a really nice car for when he turns 16. or a beat up car that he and his dad can start fixing up together. it would be fun for him and would keep him off drugs. he needs an attentive parent right now. be there for him!

If your kid is getting stoned and his "friends" aren't, then there has to be a reason why your kid needs to alter his consciousness and emotions. He/She is not comfortable with some aspect of their life and looking to escape that feeling. Is there some kind of family trouble? That will cause kids to stray into drugs and alcohol. Is he/she having problems in school? How often do you talk to the kid about growing up? Remember, kids don't come with manuals on how they are supposed to grow up. You've got to tell them what worked for you and what doesn't work for everyone.

YOU need to monitor the money you are giving him.YOU need to find out who he is hanging around with. Also find out who the parents of the other kids are, what they do, and if they know the situation. If you get the other parents involved then the parents will have the upper hand. I agree you should give him random drug test, if he fails call the cops on him that's tough love. Only give him like $50.00 allowance that's appx. $5.00 a day for lunch any thing else you buy for him.

Most of the time it doesn't matter what the drug user is. It's not just unpopular and unsuccessful people. Talk to your child about the severe dangers of drug use and take away any drugs you can find. Ground him and make sure he does not hang out with anyone who may also be a drug user.

Oh yes, take away his allowance and get him involved with after school clubs and activities so he can not buy or do drugs.

Getting stoned is not cool.If you are truly the parent of a 12 year old who gets stoned and you think that is cool you have failed your son as a parent.I almost get the feeling your are a kid pretending to be an adult .

Yeah, no money for the kid, and you really need to do something about it. Talk to him, talk to his teachers, do something. Punch him, for god sakes, he's 12 and he's freakin STONED. That ain't right.

Also, you should probably figure out why he's doing this. Don't badger him about it, but reasonably and calmly try to figure it out in a way that won't just piss him off. If you can figure out the cause, hopefully you can stop it from continuing.
