Dead is dead. Honestly, I'm sorry for your loss, whoever that may be. However, dates of death mean nothing. At worst, remember it like I do my father. He's been dead for 19 years. On that date, my mother, wife, sister, brother-in-law...and forget the kids...they're off running lives of their own. Anyway, we go out to dinner and toast the old man.
That's all it means..period. Only if you honor it as such. Forget this other mumbo-jumbo! Remember your loved and gone the way you think they should be honored.

WHAT?!... ok honey your church is messed up! I'm sorry but the bible talks about numerologies and such things its WRONG. There is no meaning to what day you die. Sweetie you need to get away from that church... in all seriousness that is So not biblical. And they are getting tooo close to some very dangerous stuff.

It means they died on the traditional MEMORIAL DAY (USA)
and by my calendar the first meeting of the NAACP in1909.
Also, that person will now have his/her own Memorial Day 5/30/06
