Humility is the acknowledgment that all we have and all we accomplish is God's work not ours.

The opposite of humility is pride.

According to the Bible humbleness is submitting under God given authority for the spiritual benefit of those around you.
Phil 2 says "Christ humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death even death on a cross."

It is a behavioral trait of being Lowly and Meek in one's persona, actions and words.

Look at as realizing that you are only one of 6 billion people, and that your opinions/beliefs are just that... opinions/beliefs.

You are insignificant, but important just the same.

knowing and understanding your place in the world(physical and spiritual)--it is not putting others above yourself(though sometimes this involved, more commonly their needs before yours)
