I don't think that we "blame" anyone. Eve ate the fruit first and Adam later. They both sinned and that sin has been passed on to all the human race.No sence blaming anyone lets just learn how to rectify the situation through Jesus Christ.

Its easier to blame someone than to accept responsibility but the real question is why did the snake tempt Eve instead of Adam?? To which the answer is: Women are the crown of creation and they were given into the protection of men. When Adam, who was standing right there, hence "husband with her", didn't step in and protect her and instead partook... it led to the type of masculinity that we now see. Men tend towards being overly feminine, or overly aggresive and violent. Satan was attacking both in one strike, by making the woman the one to blame, and by proving the man impotent. Satan is kinda smart eh?

Satan was the one that talked Eve into eating of the fruit first, then convinced Adam to Sin with her.

Adam didn't just eat of the fruit, it was suggested to him by his helpmate, Eve who ate it because satan in snake form told her that she would not surely die as God had said. Satan lied to Eve and she believed him and ate. Then she offered it to Adam and told him it was good so he ate too. Then he pointed the finger at Eve.

She was the one who gave him the fruit: but they were both to blame, more so Adam because he directly disobeyed an order from God. He should have helped his mate back onto the right path; that is what friends, accountability partners, and spouses are meant to do.

People are biblical illiterates. Just like yourself, apple is not in the scripture.
They ate (assimilated or consumed knowledge) from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Satan).
That's why God said;
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
We all must eat (assimilate or consume knowledge) of the tree of life (Jesus Christ), to live for ever.

Well, first of all it wasn't an apple. The bible says it was fruit, it could have been an orange. The lack of people having the Holy Spirit giving them revelation of the Word of God is why people take the bible out of context. I pray to God when I read His Word that He would teach me exactly what He is saying to me. That is why it is so important to read the Word for yourself.

You bring up a very good point. Both Adam and Eve were equally responsible in disobeying God.
The Catholic Church teaches about the original sin as "Man's first sin," "Adam's sin," or "Adam and Eve's" not "Eve's sin." See: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt1art1p7.htm#396
With love in Christ.

Even though Eve ate first, it was Adam's responsibility.

No! Blame Adam for being stupid. Eve was intelligent, she got her dumb husband out of that prison. Serpent is the hero however.
